Taas on tehty tutkimus GSM-puhelimien aiheuttamasta syöpäriskistä. Kun puhutaan radioaktiivisesta säteilystä sekä GSM-puhelimista, niin pitää huomauttaa, että GSM-puhelimet toimivat radioaalloilla, joiden ero radioaktiiviseen säteilyyn on erittäin suuri.
