Brexit sekä pörssin ja EU:n kehittyminen tämän brittien tekemän eropäätöksen jälkeen

Huomenna Helsingin pörssi avaa taas ovensa, ja tämän jälkeen saattaa jotain laskua olla edessä, kuten kaikki varmaan ovat jo arvanneet. Mutta uskon itse, että brexit varmasti kuitenkaan ei ole ehkä niin katastrofaalinen kuin mitä äkkiseltään voisi arvata. Tässä on kuitenkin pari päivää ehditty totutella asioihin, ja kuten kaikki varmasti huomaavat, niin mitään kovin konkreettista ei tämän takia ole tapahtunut, eli tietenkin banderolleja on näkynyt, kuten normaalistikin käy, kun suurista asioista päätetään, ja uskon että myös pörssi alkaa melko nopeasti elpyä tämän jälkeen, vaikka britannia ei enää olekaan EU:n jäsen. Eli punta on ollut maan valuutta kaiken aikaa, joten ainoa mikä ehkä näkyy katukuvassa, on EU:n lipun poistuminen rajoilta.

Muuten tuo äänestystulos tuskin aiheuttaa mitään kovin suuria tunteiden purkauksia, paitsi tietenkin britannian euroedustajien taholta, jotka joutuvat jättämään Brysselin. Joten vaikka tässä sitten on tehty poliittisesti melko suuri päätös, niin uskon, että mitään pysyvää jälkeä tästä ei sitten kuitenkaan tule. Jos Suomi sitten järjestää kansanäänestyksen EU:sta, niin sitten jos maamme seuraa britannian jalanjälkiä, niin tietenkin ensin pitää sitten markka palauttaa valtiomme valuutaksi, ja myös miettiä samalla Euron asemaa maksuvälineenä, ja tuo sitten on ainoa todellinen muutos, minkä maamme kansalaiset tulisivat kokemaan.

Mutta missään nimessä mitään salaa tehtyä päätöstä kuitenkaan tultaisiin tuon asian takia maassamme tekemään. Eikä se päätös ole mikään viikonloppuna toimeenpantu asia, vaan tietenkin valuutan vaihto tapahtuu tietyllä siirtymäajalla, eli ensin tietysti tehdään uusien markkojen graafinen suunnittelu, sitten tuo rahaan liittyvät muut standardit asetetaan huolellisesti valtion pankissa, ja samoin myös asiakirjojen kuten passien sekä ajokorttien EU-merkinnät poistetaan joko niin, että ajokortit vaihdetaan uusiin välittömästi, tai sitten annetaan siihen siirtymäaikaa. Samoin passien kanssa tapahtuvaa menettelyä pitää sitten miettiä, koska tietenkin ihmisillä voi olla tällainen aivan uusi passi, joka sitten pitäisi käydä uusimassa. Joten tuosta sitten tulisi melkoinen jono poliisiasemalle, kun kaikki asiakirjat pitää vaihtaa uusiin.

Kuitenkin tämä päätös varmasti vaatii uutta kansanäänestystä. Kun puhutaan britannian "brexit" päätöksestä, niin tuota päätöstä varmasti seurasi pieni kummastuksen aalto, kun sitten äänestyksen loputtua lähdettiin googlettamaan sitä, mikä EU oikeastaan on. Eli melkoinen reaktio tästä sitten seurasi, kun jälkeenpäin alettiin etsiä tietoa EU:sta, ja samantien kolme miljoonaa brittiä vaatii sitten kansanäänestyksen uusimista. Joten melkoinen poliittinen soppa tästä sitten on seurannut, vaikka toki äänestystuloksessa ero on melko vähäinen, ja tuon takia on ehkä syytä olettaa, että jotkut äänestäjistä eivät ehkä olisi tienneet oikeasti, mistä he äänestivät. Mutta ehkä me näemme sitten myös Suomessa vastaavan äänestyksen, kun edustaja Tynkkynen sitä niin näkyvästi vaatii.
