Muurahaisia sekä muuta kokeilua "Suomen Dark 5"-kanavalta

Tässä sitten on esillä Suomen "TOP-5"-listan omituiset YouTube-kanavat, joiden tekijöillä ei varmaan ole kovin paljon ideoista ollut puutetta. Yläkuva on eräästä tuossa YouTube-videolla esitellystä kanavasta otetusta "Screenshotista", jossa esitellään varsin mielenkiintoinen tutkimusasetelma, jossa muurahaisia kasvatetaan astioissa, ja niitä ikään kuin ohjataan pillien avulla liikkumaan astiasta toiseen. YouTubessa on tarjolla paljon todella "Creepyjä" asioita, ja niistä on sitten tehty myös "Suomen Dark 5"-lista, ja jos joku videoista pelottaa, niin kehotan ottamaan yhteyttä viranomaisiin. Minä en niitä videoita ole tehnyt, mutta alhaalla on linkki videoon, mistä kuvan yksi (Kuva I) kuvakaappaus on otettu.

Tämä muuten ei ole mikään kovin likainen koe, vaan sitä voidaan käyttää sen paljastamiseen, että onko jostain noista pilleistä juotu esimerkiksi huumeita, tai että onko joku noist pilleistä käynyt hyönteismyrkkyliuoksessa. Jos jotain pilliä on käytetty huumeiden sotkemiseen ta niiden käyttöön, niin silloin muurahaiset valitsevat sen mieluummin kuin pillin, josta on imetty esimerkiksi vettä tai normaalia virvoitusjuomaa. Tai jos jotain pilliä on käytetty hyönteismyrkyn sekoittamiseen, niin silloin tietenkin muurahaiset ainakin yrittävät sitä välttää. Kyseistä asetelmaa muuten käytetään myös erityisissä käyttäytymistieteellisissä kokeissa, missä testataan sitä, että voiko hyönteisiä opettaa käyttäytymään jollain tietyllä tavalla.

Eli noilla testeillä selvitetään, että voidaanko noille muurahaisille opettaa sellaisia asioita, kuin että voiko se noudattaa tiettyjä reittejä kuten koira noudattaa, tai että voidaanko kehittää tehokas hyönteiskarkote, joka kuitenkin säästää muurahaisten hengen, koska kyse kuitenkin on hyötyeläimestä. DEA Drug Enforcement Administration sekä ATF Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms administration ovat kokeilleet sellaista, että muurahaisia tai ampiaisia kasvatetaan sekä huumeiden tai räjähteiden kanssa, ja sitten ne on päästetty irti, jolloin nämä eläimet hakeutuvat noihin kätköihin, ja alkavat joko hajoittaa huumekätköjä tai sitten noihin hyönteisiin on kiinnitetty RFID-lastu, jolla niiden lentoa voidaan seurata.
