Sterile neutrino could be an even more fundamental particle than the Higgs boson. If that particle is existing. The sterile neutrino or grey neutrino could involve information about the Big Bang. And the only known interaction between hypothetical sterile neutrino and other particles is gravitation.
One of the reasons for that kind of thing can be that sterile neutrinos might be virtual particles. It might be the neutrino version of the electron-hole. The sterile neutrino would be the quantum field that forms in collimations of the different particles.
So there is the possibility that those sterile neutrinos would be part of the dark matter. But confirmation of that thing requires the existence of the sterile neutrino. And nobody has yet seen any of those particles.
But sterile neutrinos would be very weird. And the question is, why those hypothetical particles are not interacting? The description of the dark matter matches with sterile neutrino. And the only problem is how to confirm the existence of that hypothetical particle.
In some theories, the reason for weak interaction between sterile neutrino and other particles is the tunneling effect. The sterile neutrino would tunnel itself through the material. 'also because of that quantum tunneling. The speed of those sterile neutrinos could be near the speed of light. And that thing causes the tunneling through individual atoms. When some neutrino travels through an atom it will not have time to transfer energy to it.
There is one possible reason why sterile neutrino has no electromagnetic interaction between it and normal particles could be that those sterile neutrinos would be so fast that it has no time to interact with particles or quantum fields. That means the sterile neutrino will travel through the atoms and other material without ripping the atom into pieces.
If the particle is fast enough it can simply push the subatomic particles away from its route. And then those particles will just drop back to their point. In that theory, the speed of sterile neutrino causes the particles will just jump away from their route. And when the energy level returns to normal, they drop back to their original position.
